Volunteering

Any voluntary sector charity owes much to and relies greatly on its volunteer base, and at the Winchester
Project we are no different. Whether you have time to offer in the office, experience valuable to the Board ofTrustees, would like to spend some time investing in young people, want to help raise money or can
contribute your skills and experience to Play, Sport, Youth or one of our other initiatives, it would be great tohear from you.

Volunteering isn’t a one-way thing, either. As a volunteer we will listen to, support and encourage you to have new ideas and involve you in the development of our work and the Project. We will work with you to identify and provide relevant training, and identify new opportunities which you can benefit from.

People have a variety of motivations for volunteering, and we recognise and embrace this. You may want to make a difference, have a change, fill an evening, explore a new area, brush up your CV, meet new people or a combination of these or other reasons. Whatever your thoughts, please don’t hesitate to contact us for a no-obligation chat about how you might become involved at the Winchester Project.

All volunteering is subject to an interview and relevant procedures.
